Installation Standards | Wrap Bullys

Vehicle wrap and paint protection film installation is a process that depends on preparation, material handling, and attention to detail. The appearance and longevity of the finished installation are determined by how the work is performed.

All installations at Wrap Bullys are completed in-house at our Gardena facility using professional-grade materials from manufacturers such as 3M, Avery Dennison, and SunTek. The objective is simple. The material should sit properly on the vehicle, the edges should be finished cleanly, and the installation should hold up over time.

Preparation

Each vehicle is inspected and properly cleaned before installation begins. Surfaces must be free of wax, residue, and contamination to ensure proper adhesion.

Trim, emblems, lights, and components are removed when necessary so the material can be wrapped correctly. This allows edges to be tucked and finished cleanly, rather than cut short along visible edges.

Proper preparation helps ensure a clean installation and consistent finish.

Material Handling and Installation

Material is installed panel by panel using controlled heat and alignment techniques.

Care is taken to avoid excessive stretching, which can affect long-term stability. Each section is positioned to maintain uniform appearance across the vehicle.

Complex areas such as bumpers, mirrors, and edges are handled with additional care to ensure proper fitment.

The goal is for the wrap or paint protection film to look natural on the vehicle and maintain its appearance over time.

Edge Finishing and Fitment

Edges are wrapped and finished as cleanly as possible based on vehicle design.

Panels are aligned properly to maintain consistency throughout the installation.

Attention to detail during this stage helps prevent lifting, shrinking, and visible seams.

Final Inspection

Each vehicle undergoes a final inspection before delivery.

All panels, edges, and surfaces are reviewed to ensure proper installation.

Any necessary adjustments are completed before the vehicle is returned to the client.

Long-Term Performance

Professional wrap and paint protection materials are designed to protect the original paint while allowing the vehicle to be returned to its factory finish if removed.

Proper installation plays a major role in how well the material performs over time.

Consistent preparation and installation procedures help ensure durability and appearance.
